I had no idea he was equally a master studio bassist as well until I heard The Mack soundtrack by Willie Hutch around '73. The album We All Have A Star was an album I purchased because of the Let's Dance Together track I enjoyed the bass line opening and chorus as well as the message. I'm also thrilled at the musicians' dynamic input esp. James Jamerson Jr. on bass.
