Thomas Richard Bolin August 1, 1951 December 4, 1976 was an American guitarist and songwriter who played with Zephyr from 1969 to 1971, The James Gang from 1973 to 1974, and Deep Purple from 1975 to 1976, in addition to maintaining a notable career as a solo artist and session musician. I got the Billy Cobham album, both the James Gang albums and Tommys private eyes album on vinyl back in the 70s but never got Teaser. I recently picked up a mint looking vinyl copy but it had too much surface noise for my taste so I bought this remasted CD set. Im glad I did and the remastering of the actual album is very good and probably worth the whole price by itself. As a audiophile for 46yrs. Private Bolin. This album finally reveales Tommy Bolins magic voice Besides excellent guitar playin, the songs are filled with his colorful singin.
