Natural History: The Very Best of Talk Talk is a 1990 greatest hits album by Talk Talk. It collects songs that the band released under EMI between 1982 and 1988. The compilation spent 21 weeks on the UK Albums Chart, peaking at 3, and went on to sell over one million copies worldwide. The North American version appended two live bonus tracks. Album 1990 12 Songs. 3: Talk are commonly known for their early synthpopNew Wave singles, but are also considered forerunners in the post-rock genre for their later experimental albums. Although they were identified with bands such as Duran Duran during the New Wave movement, Talk Talk had a progressive depth their contemporaries lacked. After keyboardist Simon Brenner was replaced with producer and unofficial member Tim Friese-Greene, each successive Talk Talk release became more sophisticated and original. The band formed in London, England in 1981. Talk Talk began as a quartet consisting of Mark H read more. I always was a fan of Talk Talk from the very beginning, I always thought they were above the average Pop-ish-New-Wave-Deep-Voice group music. I didn't follow up after they kind of disappeared from the scene, until I started dreaming at night in my bed about their songs. What is rather strange. It's difficult to say which songs are the best, because I love them all Every time I listen to this album, I discover something new which makes me love it even more. It is also interesting to see the evolution of this group, very perceptible on this CD. Evolution but still Talk Talk, still Mark Hollis, still this deep warm voice which makes you faint, so beautiful it is. No doubt, he knows how to sing . My Foolish Friend. Such a Shame. Dum Dum Girl.
