Short intro

Get Some is the debut studio album of the American nu metal band Snot. Released in 1997, it is the only album that features its original vocalist, Lynn Strait, who was killed in a car accident on December 11, 1998 when a truck struck his car, killing him and his dog, Dobbs, who appears on the album cover. Get Some is the debut of the memorably named Snot, a California-based collective composed of former members of thrash, speed metal, and punk bands such as Kronix, Lethal Dose, Silence, and M. Pit Bulls. But even with production guidance by T-Ray who has worked with Helmet and House of Pain, most of the music on Get Some is not quite as memorable as that name.
