The 'Poet' is dub poet Johnson and 'the Roots' are Dennis Bovell, Lloyd Jah Bunny Donaldson, Desmond Craig, Winston Curniffe, Everald Forrest, Floyd Lawson, John Varnom, Lila Weathers and Vivian Weathers.
