Reading the ancient review by SamPope I can understand why he was disappointed buying the album after hearing Bliss. Only China which is similar to Bliss is a slow composition, rest of the album is a bomb of high energy Goa typical Israeli 98-99, or maybe I should say 97-00. China has nothing to do in style and a complete fish out-of-water especially on pos#3, I would have at very best put it as a last track and at worst left it out! Overall this album is very, very Israeli at heart, hard relentless kicks topped with a lot of melodies and breaks and some guitars too. I don't find it cheesy at all. The cover is also very nice. Though I wouldn't say essential I recommend it especially considering it was released when real Goa trance was becoming rare and eventually would melt down by Y2k.

If you don't like this Album it's safe to say that Classic Goa Trance is not your cup of tea and/or you have never been to a proper Goa trance party. Nice to see that there were still a few artists staying true to the original Goa vibe at the close of the millennium. Many great cuts on this piece of art. Beautiful album cover as well.

Very good album. It's a classic from Mystica. Ashes to Ashes is the best song. 4/5 Excellent.

One of my favorite electronic tunes of all time is Mystica's "Bliss" (heard on Paul Oakenfold's GU007: New York), so when I found out that Mystica had actually released a full length album several years ago I immediately snatched it up on Amazon. Hoping to hear more songs like "Bliss", and Mystica's other excellent psy-trance hit "Ever Rest", I was very disappointed with this album. This is high energy, "full-on" (as psy-trance fans call it) psy-trance that is almost unbearabley cheesy. I had a hard time listening to ANY of the tracks without becoming annoyed, and skipping ahead. "China", the albums only mid-tempo tune, was the only song I semi-liked. What happened? Very disappointing.

You really don't have a scoobie what your talking about .. to say this album is cheesy .. shows how little you actually know of Mystica's work . You bought an album on Amazon expecting tracks like bliss . You opinion is null and void ..

"What happened?" -Very good question. Same question with a lot of great old school projects. What on earth is so appealing about this new "style" they call psy-trance?
