Re-mastered from original master tapes in 2017 at Munemihouse, Tokyo.

Originally released on cassette by ZSF PRODUKT, Japan in 1984.
Later released by RRR sub-label Statutory Tape, USA in 1993.
Also released selected tracks on CD as part of the 'Merzbox' (Extreme, Australia) in 1999.

The complete release including Pornoise Extra was reissued on CD by Menstrualrecordings on September 28, 2017. In the 80s Masami Akita had a mail art project called Pornoise, in which he made collages using discarded magazines in particular pornographic magazines taken from the trash. These were then sent. Pulse Demon - Pulse Demon is overrated, possibly because it is for whatever reason one of his most well-recognized works. Perhaps it's the cool optical illusion cover. Prototypical aggressive analog Merzbow, good nonetheless. Sha Mo 3000 - I love this album a dreamlike, surreal digital work. Rich textures and distorted, huge sounding samples.
