Engineered by the band's Dave Formula, who restored and remastered the material here, Live and Intermittent - all previously unreleased - pulls from 1979 performances recorded at New York's Hurrah and Los Angeles' Whisky A Go Go, as well as a 1980 gig at Sydney's Family Hotel, recorded 11 days prior to the show that made up Play.
