6th WRC pressing, on blue 'herald' label. Originally issued (twice) as TE 353 in 1964 and 1966, it was reissued as S/2420 in 1969 and again in c1973. When the new "R-" series catalogue numbers were introduced from the end of 1974, it was reissued (as R-00015, at least on the labels) several times more - c1975, April 1976, April 1978 and April 1979. This one, with the laminate strip present down the right side of the back of the sleeve, can be dated to 1975 or 1976. The design of the back of the sleeve is the same (old S/2420 catalogue number, 1969 addresses). The front of the sleeve may be in the old gold colour scheme, or, like later pressings, in a cheaper two-tone red.
The runout numbers of the 1978 pressing are different, indicating a new stamper, which may have been used case for this one too. Also issued on reel-to-reel and cassette.

The following is a partial list of concertos by Joseph Haydn 17321809. In the Hoboken catalogue of Haydn's works, concertos for most instruments are in category VII with a different letter for each solo instrument VIIa is for violin concertos, VIIb is for cello concertos, etc. The exceptions are the concertos for keyboard and for baryton which are placed in categories XVIII and XIII, respectively. Violin Concerto No. 1 in C major, Hob. VIIa:1 ca. About this Album: Haydns violin concertos are early works dating from the 1760s. The First in C was only discovered in 1909 in the archives of the publishers Breitkopf 100 years after the composers : Three Piano Concertos. Haydn: Three Favorite Concertos 58:54. 1 января 1984. Ужасно Очень плохо Плохо Неплохо Почти хорошо Хорошо Очень хорошо Отлично Великолепно Превосходно. The Romance and the Divertimento a Tre are given poised performances, though both horn concertos need more articulation from the strings. Two duets for horn and trombone Jörgen van Rijen from Michael Haydn's D-major Serenade stand out for elegance in a somewhat samey programme. More about: Amsterdam Concerto Music Parlophone Records .
