Grand Funk: все альбомы, включая Greatest Hits: Grand Funk Railroad , Live: The 1971 Tour , 30 Years Of Funk: 1969-1999 The Anthology и другие. Grand Funk Railroad released 'Live Album' on Nov. 16, 1970, capitalizing on three previous hit studio projects. After bursting onto the music scene in 1969 with their rock-solid debut On Time , Grand Funk Railroad rapidly started turning heads and ears to their bare-boned, no-frills hard rock and roll. Those ears they turned, however, were not those of your local music critic, but rather of your everyday rock fan. The tag of people's band stuck for a reason: critics be damned, the fans loved 'em. Both On Time , and the follow-up simply titled Grand Funk , were released in 1969 and both made good showings, their debut hitting Top 30 and the sophomore just missing Top 10. This was THE GRAND FUNK RAILROAD in all their rawest, nastiest, sexual, high energy, Rude, Loud Live Power Trio Glory. This is the Greatest Live Album of all time, there are no overdubs only a few tweaks with the audience noise time for Capitol to really remaster this one, the audience noise sounds wrong on the CD. Don Brewer Playing his POUNDING DRUMS ahead of the Note and Mark Farner playing his wild rhythms and screeching leads on GUITAR anywhere before, after, or in the middle of the note. That magic gave GFR a special sound all to there own, It can't be faked or copied, its something natural to the three musicians. Live Album is a hard rock music live album recording by GRAND FUNK RAILROAD released in 1970 on CD, LPVinyl andor cassette. When I was in my teens circa 1989 I kept hearing how Grand Funk Railroad was the forefathers of heavy metal. From hearing I'm Your Captain, I was thinking that song has as much metal going as your typical Crosby, Stills & Nash song
