Dio's last album as a solo artist Master of the Moon has the signature Dio lyrics of fantasy and darkness, and sort of picks up where his previous release, Killing the Dragon left off, musically. This album is a balanced effort, with no song that totally jumps out and takes the top slot, thus diminishing the rest of the songs. One can listen to ANY song and feel that it's worthy of the top slot. If I HAD. Master of the Moon is Dio's tenth and final studio album. It was released on September 7, 2004 in America through Sanctuary Records and August 30, 2004 in Europe through SPV Records. One song, Death by Love, was partly wr. Following a cut-off from Master of the Moon enter End of the World starting with a synth that cuts into a heavy guitar riff that could of been plucked straight from the 80's. After the slower pace of the last song, this is a booster. The song is one of my favourites on the album and has a great guitar solo in it. Follower The Man Who Would Be King arrives with a piano and Dio signing, a very slow opener goes into a steady guitar beat that starts to solo over the top. What follows is a rather generic song, another mid pace one that can be overlooked in the album. Master of the Moon. Show lyrics. loading lyrics. The End of the World. Best DIO album to date. Master of the Boring Stuff. Metal God. There's something about a post-millennium album cover that features a giant blue-horned minion of Satan in pre-pounce with an illuminated crystal ball in its leathery hand that simply warms the soul, and the fact that it adorns a record called Master of the Moon can mean only one thing: DioRelated to Dio - Master Of The Moon
