Notes
Recorded at Birdland, New York, 15-22 December 1951.Short intro
Modern Complex Dialogues. This bootleg LP contains music from several broadcasts from Birdland by the Dave Brubeck Quartet with altoist Paul Desmond, bassist Wyatt Reuther and drummer Herb Barman. The recording quality is not the greatest but the music is generally quite worthwhile, not only giving listeners different versions of such songs as At a Perfume Counter, Crazy Chris and Stardust but a rare example of the Brubeck Quartet playing Jingle Bells.
