Slutski, the Presidential orchestra of the Republic of Belarus, conductor - Victor Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus Прэзідэнцкі аркестр Рэспублікі Беларусь is a Belarusian orchestra which is made up of graduates of the Belarusian State Academy of Music BSAM, the Belarusian State University of Culture and the Minsk Music School. It is one of three major symphonic orchestras in the country. It was founded on August 6, 2002 with the goal of promoting Belarusian music and artistic both over Belarus and abroad. The Presidential Orchestra of Belarus performed the heritage of Viktor Tsoi by means of 62 instruments. It is not the first rock experiment of the orchestra of Victor Babarikin. They made symphonic performances of Metallica, Deep Purple, Scorpions. The project Symphonic Cinema was created as a tribute to the leader of the group, whose work eventually became classic and worthy of orchestra performance. On the eve of the final concert the festival has released its own anniversary soundtrack compiled from the sounds of all Belarusian cities that hosted musical nights. This season on the occasion of its fifth anniversary Classic Music at Cityhall Togetherwith A1 for the first time embraced five Belarusian cities at once. Concerts have been already held in Vitebsk, Gomel, Grodno and Brest. By Minsk Cityhall Presidential Orchestra of the Republiс of Belarus under the baton of Victor Babarikin will present its program From Classics to the Rock Classics: from Vivaldi, Puccini, Verdi to Metallica and ACDC.
