Short intro

Yessongs is the first live album by the English progressive rock band Yes, released as a triple album in May 1973 on Atlantic Records. After completing their Close to the Edge Tour in April 1973, the band selected live recordings between February and December 1972 on their tours supporting Fragile 1971 and Close to the Edge 1972 for a live album release. Three tracks feature original Yes drummer Bill Bruford. Yes - Yessongs Full Album - 1973 Live - Remastered. Siberian Khatru Live LP from Yessongs. European Swing the early years Sporthalle, Köln, Germany, April 3, 1970 Göteborgs Concerthall, Gothenburg, Sweden, January 24, 1971. Yes played the Beat Club in Bremen, Germany on Jan. 28th, so the Koln one could be from the 26th or 27th of January, since they were in Copenhagen, Denmark on the 25th. they were also in Berlin, Germany on March 27th and 28th, and in Stuttgart on April 16, back in Berlin on June 5th, apparently they liked Germany alot in 1971 so this could. Songs in album Yes - Yessongs 1973. Yes - Opening Excerpt From 'Firebird Suite'. Yes - Siberian Khatru. Yes - Heart Of The Sunrise. Yes - Perpetual Change. Yes - And You And I. Yessongs-The Album is devoted to live performances of Yessongs as it appears on the officially released album. We play the music as it was meant to be to be-with all of the energy and excitement of the original, and with no wigs, capes, or other tribute band nonsense. This is the music as it was always intended to be-powerful and exuberant. Yours Is No Disgrace indeed Yessongs-The Album. 7 January 2019 . John Covach. 27 December 2018 . Yessongs-The Album. 29 April 2018 . Bill Bruford. Listen free to Yes Yessongs Opening excerpt from Firebird Suite, Siberian Khatru and more. 13 tracks 120:28. After the recording of Close to the Edge, and at the height of the band's success, Bruford quit the band to join King Crimson. White was brought into Yes several months before the release of Close to the Edge. Their early touring with White was featured on their next release, the three-record live collection Yessongs, recorded on their world tour in late 1972 and early 1973. Album 1973 13 Songs. Yessongs Live. Rock 1973. On the bands 1972 American tour they found their identity as a truly great live band. They jump in with the epic Siberian Khatru, a speed battle between Rick Wakemans organ and Steve Howes guitar. Howe and Chris Squire later rock the crazy guitar and bass workout The Fish, while Wakeman showcases his earnest neoclassical project Six Wives. Yessongs is as intense as it is endlessly fascinating. Yessongs is the first live album released as a triple album in May 1973 on Atlantic Records. The album represents recordings from their Fragile and Close to the Edge tours between February and December 1972. B1, D3 and D4 feature Bill Bruford on drums the remaining songs feature his replacement, Alan White
