Discover all of this album's music connections, watch videos, listen to music, discuss and Seed was the piece of revolution a lot of Whitehouse fans had been begging for. Yes, change can be hard at points, but for Whitehouse, it was long overdue. Through all of its wackiness and vague symbolism, Bird Seed discovers a new horizon for Whitehouse, and would influence many other Industrial acts over the years, whether avant-garde or mainstream

It's very difficult to review this album -- I would liken it to "reviewing" being curbstomped or kicked in the stomach while dusted up or under the influence of some sort of anesthetic. Needless to say, this is not for everyone but for the days when I'm REALLY angry I find that little else really fits the bill.

To me this represents some of there best work yet, a true coming together of pure aggresive white noise music and deeply disturbing lyrics, noise with a point, not just for the sake of it (Something so many other artists of this kind fail to grasp). Its difficult to listen to this all the way through without forming some kind of opinion, good or bad which I suppose is the desired effect. If I could recommend one Whitehouse album for a newcomer then it would be this one, with the absolute blind rage of "Wriggle Like a Fucking Eel" sitting next to the more subdued yet non the less disturbing sound of "Cut Hands Has The Solution"
