Australian WRC pressing, sourced from original stampers and featuring unique sleeve art. "R. 02972" on sleeve, "R-02972" on labels. Oddly, the logo for The Record Society appears on the back, although the album was not denoted as such in the WRC programme for the season, and the labels are the standard blue 'herald' labels. It was reissued regularly till at least 1982. Known cover variations include salmon pink, grey-blue and yellow covers. Later versions may be missing "stereo" from the bottom-left of the blue 'herald' labels.

Goin' Out of My Head is an album by American jazz guitarist Wes Montgomery that was released in 1966. It reached No. 7 on the Billboard magazine R&B chart. At the 9th Grammy Awards Goin' Out of My Head won the Grammy Award for Best Jazz Instrumental Album, Individual or Group. Goin' Out of My Head was Montgomery's first album with sales reaching near one million. It was producer Creed Taylor's idea that Montgomery should do a cover of the title song, a 1964 hit by Little Anthony and the Imperials. Guitarist Wes Montgomery had a hit with this version of Goin' Out of My Head but musically it is little more than a pleasant melody statement. Accompanied by a wasted all-star big band given dull arrangements by Oliver Nelson, Montgomery mostly sticks to playing themes, even those as dull as Chim Chim Cheree and It Was a Very Good Year.
