Short intro

Ghetto Heisman is the second solo album by WC. It was released on October 22, 2002, by Def Jam Recordings which had recently signed WC. Upon the album's release, it was discovered that the first pressings were issued with a noticeable skip on the track Tears Of A Killa. Flirt - Contains a sample of Ambitionz Az A Ridah by 2Pac. Bang Loose - Contains a sample of Atmosphere by Funkadelic. So Hard - Contains a sample of Can't Make It Without You by Shawne Jackson. Yet he doesn't take full advantage of it on Ghetto Heisman, despite an impressive parade of guests that include Snoop Dogg and even old pal Ice Cube, lured back to the rap game from his silver screen duties. The rich, Clinton-sampling G-funk sounds just as good here as it did it in its early-'90s heyday, but WC's verses too often lapse into gangsta boilerplate when he gives it a fleet-tongued twist on Bellin, the results really are Heisman-worthy.
