Don't Forget The Struggle, Don't Forget The Streets Lyrics: In our minds, and in our hearts, we feel that hardcore music should stay out of big business and stay in the streets, where it belongs All you kids out there, always keep the. In our minds, and in our hearts, we feel that hardcore music should stay out of big business and stay in the streets, where it belongs All you kids out there, always keep the faith . Don't Forget the Struggle, Don't Forget the Streets was the first full-length album from New York hardcore NYHC band, Warzone. Following the band's 1987 debut release, the Lower East Side Crew EP, it was first released on the band's own label, Fist Records, before being licensed and re-released in 1988 on Caroline Records, The track We're The Crew was previously available on the EP, but was re-recorded for this album. If I'm not listening to metal or synth pop chances are I'm listening to sad poetic young women play sad literate songs that I can't get out of my head and Baker does it close to the best

The first pressing was 1000 lp with "graffiti" back cover. I sold them by 'TRUNK' distribution, meaning, out of the back of my trunk. The band complained they couldn't read it. We made the second pressing with the computer back and pressed 2000 LPS & 1000 cassettes, if I remember correctly. Those sold to Caroline in a day. The band decided too sell out and sign to Caroline right after I gave them a check for the selling of the second pressing, which was a 50/50 split profit deal that I made with RAYBEEZ, sealed by a handshake. For the Revalation 2018 pressing they even released it with my name as PRODUCER taken off. Thats trying to erase history, no? Who does that? isis? If I see them on the street I'll kick they're punk asses. That goes for that jerk from REVELATION too, who gave them the outlet.

and... I have a sleeve variation not on here as well from the 88 repress?, blue labels, bitmapped text but mine also has additional bitmapped "band info:" text under the "produced by the Warzone Posse". Does this mean there's a 3rd pressing in the 80's and which one is the one with "band info:"??

it's the exact same text (address) that's on the back, bottom left of the '87 Fist bitmapped text release so I'm thinking maybe the true '88 2nd press has their address and then they removed for the 3rd press? maybe changed their address??

How many of the records got that graffiti back? would be great to know....
