Exquisite Corpse is the debut EP by American alternative rock band Warpaint, self-released in August 2008 and subsequently re-released on October 6, 2009 on Manimal Vinyl. Recorded in 2007, the EP was mixed by current-Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante, and features Red Hot Chili Peppers ex-guitarist Josh Klinghoffer performing drums on Billie Holiday and guitar on Krimson. Some of Exquisite Corpse's tracks had been in the band's live repertoire for over five years. Warpaint is the second studio album by the American indie rock band Warpaint, released on January 17, 2014 on Rough Trade Records. Produced by Flood and the band itself, the album was preceded by the single, Love Is to Die. It has been characterized as dream pop. In an interview with NME in September 2011, drummer Stella Mozgawa affirmed that Warpaint planned to experiment and write with one another to develop the songs on Warpaint as their current lineup had never composed songs from the ground. The title comes from a game of the same name where each player progressively adds on to the work of another. This is particularly appropriate as, with no official drummer at the time, each song was made with contributions from different musicians. We had so many different drummers on the EP.
