One of Germanys longer lasting bands had first started as Blitzkrieg until they found out a British band used the name as well and changed their name to Wallenstein and kept their former name for the album, gracing it with a war-themed gatefold cover. Early sound was krautrock, which led to symphonic, and to space rock toward the break-up of the original lineup around 1973. Constant throughout is keyboardistvocalist Jurgen Dollase and he would continue through the seventies and early eighties fronting Wallenstein while also pursuing bigger and better things.
