Viktor Vaughn 2003 Is the third studio album by MF DOOM. Here he takes his supervillan persona and expands on the concept as his alter-ego Viktor Vaughn, going into topics varying from shifty drug deals to girl issues. Characteristic of his rapping style, he brings plenty of punchlines and clever wordplay to compliment his stream-of conciousness delivery style, making you hang on his every word. The production uses weird drum, jazz and electronic beats to complement his oddball style. Vaudeville Villain 2003 - download the album and listen online. Album: Vaudeville Villain 2003. Sound Ink. As expected on an album from one of the current greats, the soundscapes on Vaudeville Villain fail to keep pace with the classic lines being dropped left and right. This is Doom's first album consisting entirely of guest productions, and it quickly becomes apparent that he sounds better over his own work. Relatively unknown producers King Honey, Max Bill, and Heat Sensor offer a cohesive sound, but fail to really hit on a mood that suits Doom's drunken master assault. Vaudville Villain is Viktor Vaughn at his best, with complex, wordy MCing and violent, low key, and drab instrumentation setting an altogether eerie mood with some oddball inconsistency taking away from absolute perfection. The album kicks off with the title track, with Viktor Vaughns possibly most energetic and awake flow ever mixed with a scrambling whirlwind of superhero samples, fuzzy guitars and a pounding drum track. Although on a more energetic level than most of the record, the dark mood continues throughout the record
