In an era when rock seemed to lose some of its political idealism, the Secret Policeman concerts kept that spirit alive with earnest performances for a good cause, and The Secret Policeman's Other Ball is no exception. The Secret Policeman's Ball is a series of benefit shows staged initially in the United Kingdom to raise funds for the human rights organisation Amnesty International. I owned the album when it came out in the 80s and have been looking for it on CD for years. The acoustic unplugged style of Roxanne by Sting and In the Air Tonight by Phil Collins are awesome.
