The best thing about it is that modern artists are doing the songs and while they keep to the originality of the tunes, they put their own flavor on them. I have had this disk in the past and things happen to disks. I have gotten my kids listening to them and finding out that the bands on this disk have made other music which my teens are going to other outlets and hearing more and more music by the groups on the disk. Saturday Morning: Cartoons' Greatest Hits is a tribute album of songs from Saturday morning childrens television shows and cartoons mostly from the 1960s and 1970s. The project was produced by Ralph Sall, with the songs performed by alternative rock artists. It was released in 1995 by MCA on LP, cassette, and CD, and peaked at 67 on the Billboard 200. Promotion for the album included a comic book from Marvel Comics and a music video collection hosted by Drew Barrymore MCA Home Video MCAV-11348. Music to Watch Girls By was the first Top 40 hit by Bob Crewe using his own name, recorded by his group The Bob Crewe Generation. Crewe first heard the song performed in a jingle demo for a Diet Pepsi commercial. Music was composed by Sidney Sid Ramin.
