In 1997 the label started operating under the name DJ Wholesale Club before eventually reverting back to X-Mix. Unlike other issues in the series, this one had a tagline as part of the title and volume number Best Of 70's And 80's. 4 of the 8 songs are broken up into 2 continuous CD tracks, to make it easier for DJ's to skip right to the middle break of the song and mix in from there if desired - however the whole CD is not continuously mixed from one song to the next.
