When This Album Was Initially Released, It Was Nothing More Than A "Best Unsigned Bands" Compilation. In Fact When It Was Created Every Band Was Indeed Unsigned. Within The Past Year And A Half, Many Things Have Changed. This Cd Has Evolved Beyond Expectations And Now Stands Testament To Exactly What The Underground Music Scene Is All About... A Select Few Bands Become Signed To Major Labels Bringing A Close To Their Days Of Playing Sporadic Shows In Small Clubs And Starting Their New Life In The Fast-Paced Mainstream Industry. Conversely, Fortune Does Not Smile Upon Every Band And Some Groups Must Accept The Grim Reality Of Separation. Whether It Be A Difference In Opinions, Unforeseen Consequences, Or The Loss In Interest, The Members Must Say Their Good-Byes Before Parting Ways Forever Or Moving On To Another Group. Yet Still, There Are Those Bands Who Become Stuck In The Middle, Continuing Their Struggle To Become Signed And Trying To Side-Step Pitfalls. Each Day Can Spur New Hope Or Can Lead One Step Closer To Destruction... I Hope This Has Given A Little Insight To The Underground Scene And Expresses The Importance Of Supporting It In Any Way.
