Although Sweden's Totalitär formed in 1985, it took them ten years to record their debut album, Sin Egen Motstandare - and four more years after that to have it released in the U. It's primitive retro-hardcore punkthrash, and even if it's neither groundbreaking nor well-recorded, there is an undeniable adrenaline rush to the music. Totalitär is a Swedish hardcore punk band formed in 1984-1985 in Hudiksvall. The band plays in the style of D-beat and hardcore punk. The original members were Poffen, Lanchy, Andreas and Lennart. In 1994, Finn Records proposed reforming the band with the resulting album Sin Egen Motståndare, their first full-length studio album. Until 2000, the band record studio materials but rarely played live. It disbanded in 2000. The band also had a fanzine called Antisystem. In 2006, and after 6 years without recording sessions, they returned to the studio releasing the album Vi Är Eliten. 1 Members.
