When RCA ended their Complete Tommy Dorsey two-fer LP series in 1939, they were wise enough to initiate a new if less ambitious complete series, reissuing on three double LPs all of Frank Sinatra's vocals with Dorsey. The first volume covers the first five and a half months, and is highlighted by I'll Be Seeing You, Polka Dots and Moonbeams, Fools Rush In, East of the Sun which also includes a brief spot by trumpeter Bunny Berigan, and I'll Never Smile Again. Obviously, Sinatra fans have to acquire this. Swoonatra The Essential Frank Sinatra With Tommy Dorsey Vol. 1 - Frank Sinatra, The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra. The three-CD set contains recordings from Sinatra's performances with Tommy Dorsey and his orchestra at the beginning of his five-decade singing career. Many of the songs had never been available prior to the set, as Sinatra did not record them for his studio albums when he was alive. They had, however, been available as transfers from 78rpm on vinyl in the six-LP box set The DorseySinatra. CD Album. CD Single. CD Maxi.
