The project was supposed to be released two weeks before Selektah's album Population Control released on 25 October 2011. Tom Abbott is an 19-year-old from Massachusetts and studies at the prestigious New England Conservatory in Boston, majoring in Contemporary Improvisation with concentrations in both guitar and vocals. His strong, unique, and wide-ranging vocals, creative composition, and slick guitar strumming have made him a crowd favorite wherever he has performed. His sound has been likened to Dave Matthews, Billy Corrigan of the Smashing Pumpkins and Billy Jo Armstrong of Green Day Tom has been performing in bars, clubs and other public venues since age 14.
