Hunky Dory TK was an electronic collage composed entirely of samples from David Bowies classic, orchestral pop album, Hunky Dory, performed as part of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago's 2015 exhibition David Bowie Is. He Sang His Didn't He Danced His Did CD released on Troubleman Unlimited Records in 2001. But instead of covering Hunky Dory, Kinsella was inspired by Arnold Dreyblatt to create an adventurous new piece of music, made entirely of samples of Hunky Dory. Even though the end result sounds nothing like the original, a proper commercial release is illegal without Bowie's approval. Bowie does not approve.
