The Wildhearts are an English rock band, formed in 1989 in Newcastle upon Tyne. The band's sound is a mixture of hard rock and melodic pop music, often described in the music press as combining influences as diverse as The Beatles and 1980s-era Metallica. The Wildhearts achieved several top 20 singles and one top 10 album in Britain, though they also faced difficulties with record companies and many internal problems often relating to recreational drugs and depression. I've created this video as a tribute to the band. The Wildhearts marked the reunion of guitarist CJ Chris Jaghdar and drummer Ritch Battersby for the first time since the mid-'90s, and this was also the first album on which the band was joined by American bass player Scott Sorry, formerly of the U. punk band Amen and rockers Brides of Destruction.
