The concert film somewhat updates the story of the albums protagonist, Jimmy, who is a mod coming of age in the mid Sixties, with archival footage and images that would have affected Jimmy in the past four decades, all of which was chosen by frontman Roger Daltrey. Legendary rock band The Who captured live in performance at London's Wembley Arena in July 2013. The gig saw the band perform their 1973 concept album 'Quadrophenia' in its entirety to commemorate the 40th anniversary of its release. The group also performed a number of popular songs from throughout their career including 'Baba O'Riley', 'You Better You Bet' and 'Won't Get Fooled Again'. Townshend and Entwistle met while attending high school in London's Shepherd's Bush area. In their early teens, they played in a Dixieland band, with Entwistle on trumpet and Townshend on banjo. Capturing The Who's maximum live sound in the studio, songs like The Real Me, The Punk and the Godfather, and Love, Reign Oer Me come across with their knockout power fully intact. Roger Daltreys commanding vocals are matched by Keith Moons manic drum wizardry, John Entwistles melodic, plunging basslines, and Townshends windmill power chords.
