Short intro

The Precisions was an American, Detroit-based, doo-wopR&B group of the 1960s. Their breakthrough single If This Is Love I'd Rather Be Lonely, reached No. 26 in the R&B and No. 60 in the Billboard pop chart. This was followed up with Instant Heartbreak in March 1968. The band's members were Arthur Ashford, Michael Morgan, Billy Prince and Denis Gilmore. If This Is Love I'd Rather Be Lonely is still played regularly on the Northern soul circuit. The Precisions are deeply saddened at the loss our brother band-mate, Bob Falco who passed away this morning. Although Bob was not able to overcome the serious illness that emerged in recent months, we are grateful for the prayers and good wishes from our wonderful friends during this difficult time. With his trademark hat and the twinkle in his eyes, Bob loved entertaining our fans, and sharing his passion for Vintage Rock with them.
