Dream All Day: The Best of the Posies is a compilation album by Seattle alternative rock band The Posies, released in 2000. This album was compiled with Ken Stringfellow and Jon Auer's full participation, but only collected songs from their successful and influential years on the Geffen and DGC labels. Compiled with Ken Stringfellow and Jon Auer's full participation, Dream All Day: The Best of the Posies' 19 tracks still aren't a full career overview. Since their 1988 debut album, Failure, 1998's studio swansong Success, and 2000's live Before the Iceberg were recorded for indie imprints, none of those tracks appear here. But as an anthology of the Posies' successful and influential years on the Geffen and DGC labels, this collection is faultless. United States, although all band members had moved to Seattle when the band gained prominence. The band's two core members, singers, songwriters and guitarists are Jon Auer and Ken Stringfellow. The Posies began as a set of informal home recordings by Stringfellow and Auer, but soon became a full-fledged band. Those early demos were released as the album Failure 1988.
