High and Mighty is the ninth studio album by British hard rock band Uriah Heep, released in 1976 by Bronze Records in the UK and Warner Bros. Records in the US. High and Mighty was the last Uriah Heep album to feature vocalist and founding member David Byron, who was subsequently fired due to his troubles with alcohol he later died in 1985. The High & Mighty's debut album for Rawkus, Home Field Advantage 1999, put the duo on the hip-hop map in a big way. At the time, Rawkus was arguably the most esteemed label in underground hip-hop, mostly because of the critical success releases such as Mos Def and Talib Kweli's Black Star had garnered for the New York label. Three years later, in 2002, the High & Mighty returned with its second album, Air Force 1, released on Eastern Conference rather than Rawkus. Every track on the album left me feeling that any minute something magic was going to happen, but then it never eventuated. The Dude Where's My Car skit left me feeling nothing short of mortified for them. When I listen to Airforce 1 I have to ask myself Am I missing something here which is never a good sign
