Текст песни: Wish you would stop calling me baby wish I could stop coming back so if I go blind if I go the ghosts of Rilo Kiley fade into the ether, Bury Me In My Rings presents the man responsible an opportunity to further himself from the past, and to continue to develop his artistic identity. Artist Site Released: May 17, 2011 ON Vagrant. Born To Love You. Look At Me Now. Go For The Throat. But the Electeds third outing, Bury Me in My Rings, is a middling album that doesnt consistently play to Sennetts strengths. While the bands previous record, Sun, Sun, Sun, was a pleasant and occasionally inspired set of summer pop, Bury Me in My Rings plays too fast and loose with its genre pastiches and is a scattershot affair as a result. If Sennett hadnt already proven that the Elected is capable of producing better music than just the average side project, Bury Me in My Rings might not have been such a disappointment. The Elected's pop sensibilities are in full throttle for 42 minutes of glistening '70s AM bliss that never sacrifice the thoughtful melancholia that has always characterized Sennett's lyrics. Full Review. Its over-the-top nature proves one thing-Bury Me in My Rings is at its best when Sennett and company stick to their specialty: breezy, sturdy, meticulously crafted pop. Not only is Bury Me in My Rings a pleasant segue into warmer seasons, it also serves as a reminder that there are more Rilo Kiley members besides Jenny Lewis worth keeping tabs on. Read full review
