Save the Last Dance for Me - The Drifters, Ben E. Лента с персональными рекомендациями и музыкальными новинками, радио, подборки на любой вкус, удобное управление своей коллекцией. The Drifters were one of the best male vocal groups of the 1950s and 1950s. The song appeared on the album, Save The Last Dance For Me released in 1962 on Atlantic and is available on CD on The Very Best of The Drifters on RhinoAtlantic. I do not own the right to the song. Save the Last Dance for Me is a song written by Doc Pomus and Mort Shuman, first recorded in 1960 by the Drifters, with Ben E. King on lead vocals. In a 1990 interview, songwriter Doc Pomus tells the story of the song being recorded by the Drifters and originally designated as the B-side of the record. The Drifters' version of the song, released a few months after Ben E. King left the group. You can dance Every dance with the guy Who gave you the eye Let him hold you tight. You can smile Every smile for the man Who held your hand 'Neath the pale moonlight. But don't forget who's taking you home And in whose arms you're gonna be So darlin' Save the last dance for me, mmm. Oh I know That the music is fine Like sparkling wine Go and have your fun. Laugh and sing But while we're apart Don't give your heart To anyone. Nobody But Me - The Drifters. The Drifters. Pop 1962. Save the Last Dance for Me. I Count the Tears. The Drifters & Ben E.
