Reviewed in the United States on April 20, 2014. Great big band jazz but the jewel of the album is Warren Luening's rendition of I Remember Clifford. This tune has been recorded by almost all the great trumpet players but,in my opinion,Luening's version is second only to Lee Morgan's. This cd is a must for any trumpet player and jazz fan. Andrews was a member of the Harry James orchestra, debuting on November 26, 1958 at the Blue Note jazz club in Chicago. He recorded with Columbia Records and others. His career declined in the 1960s and 1970s but would rebound in the 1980s. He recorded with the CappPierce Juggernaut Band, Gene Harris, Jay McShann, and the Harper Brothers.
