Our manufacturer has informed us that they have had severe problems with the quality control of 180 gram marble color vinyl. captured the unique occasion for posterity, via the following year's Dømkirke release. And perhaps it is best, after all, that Dømkirke was produced in limited quantities and only on vinyl, as its contents truly work best when absorbed as a one of a kind event, than allotted alongside the natural evolution of Sunn 0's discography. Track Listing. Dømkirke, recorded during the Borealis festival in Bergen, Norway, marks a subtle departure in the group's sound, if only for that place in time. The setting gives even more celestial weight to the organ playing on Why Dost Thou Hide Thyself In Clouds and provides an almost ancient timbre to Attila Csihar's operatic moans and chants. The middle section of Dømkirke pushes the listener back into darkness, but even Sunn's style of drone doom feels graceful in comparison to previous works.
