Short intro

Stone is the debut album from Finnish thrash metal band Stone. It was originally released in 1988, and remastered and re-issued in 2003. It was re-released again in 2009, bundled with No Anaesthesia in a 2 CD set. Several singles were released from the album. On the 2003 re-release, The Final Cuntdown is re-titled The Final Countdown the correct title of the song. It is a parody cover of the Europe song The Final Countdown. The Stone is the first album by Babble, an electronic dance music group that was composed of Tom Bailey, Alannah Currie formerly of the Thompson Twins, and Keith Fernley. The group changed its name as it changed the outward appearance of its sound, from pop to dub-influenced chill-out. The underlying melodies and the familiar voices of Bailey and Currie still gave a Thompson Twins tone.
