Steve is joined by members of the Tonight Show orchestra-his alter ego when playing around town was former band leader and clarinetist Gus Bivona, who is given plenty of space to stretch out. Vibes man Terry Gibbs and guitarist Mundell Lowe also display their talents. Actually, all the musicians are given an unusual amount of time to solo.
