Termanology provides some stellar bars over Statik’s lush, boombap production. Sadly, the guest artists like Conway The Machine, steal the show as Teen’s cadence does get exhaustive on the ears. Though this is the case, Term shines best on reminiscent tracks where he speaks on sitting on staircases.
On this LP. I came for the album artwork, and was glad to hear Mac Miller get shouted out from the onset of the record with Price and Prodigy, from that big of an intro I did expect more than just the by the numbers hip hop record, but at least “Still 1982” had me attempt to bust some breakdance moves on my kitchen floor.
