The album is known for the rock classic Green Grass & High Tides, which is considered by many to be one of the greatest guitar songs, plus the hit single There Goes Another Love Song. A cover version of Green Grass & High Tides appears as a playable song in the video game Rock Band. With Don Collier, Barton MacLane, Bruce Yarnell, Slim Pickens. The adventures of a Marshal and his young Deputies in a section of Oklahoma infested with bandit gangs, gunmen, and free to The Splendors The Splendors Dirty Road, Tonight I Should Apologize and more. The Outlaws' self-titled debut was released in 1975, a few years after the Allman Brothers Band's greatest glories and a couple of years before the untimely demise of the original Lynyrd Skynyrd. The Outlaws latched onto their Southern heritage by way of Florida, threw in some harmony by way of the Eagles, and then wrote a number of songs that played to their strengths.
