Largo is an Americana music project and album which was produced by Rick Chertoff and Rob Hyman and released by Polygram in 1998. It was co-written by them with Eric Bazilian and David Forman. The title is taken from the second movement of Antonín Dvořák's New World Symphony, and the project is considered loosely inspired by the symphony. The album has several interpretations of Dvorak's piece, performed by musicians such as The Chieftains and Garth Hudson. Soesja Citroen released it on the album Key Largo in 1982. It was covered by Lori Carsillo, Ran Blake, Nick Brignola, Kenny Barron, Dave Holland, Jack DeJohnette, Jackie Cain & Roy Kral and other Citroen: Shall We Dance, Natural Step, Little Niles и другие песни. Soesja Citroen took up her singing career in 1979. With her band she soon was to become a very well known appearance in Dutch jazz clubs and theaters and also at the North Sea Jazz Festival, at which she performed in 1981 for the first time. Next to that she did radio shows with the Metropole Orchestra and won a second prize at the Knokke Song festival. She recorded a lot of albums.
