Addiction is a song by the band Skinny Puppy, taken from their 1987 album Cleanse Fold and Manipulate. It was released on vinyl in 1987 and released on CD in 1991 Canada and 1997 United States. Oh… I… I'll be alright… I must be over tired…

This is a very solid single, and one of my favourite Puppy singles overall. The First Dose mix is extremly solid and the Second Dose isnt bad either, but what makes this 12" complete is the wonderful remix of deep down Trauma Hounds. one of the best tracks SP has recorded in their history IMO, and this remix is arguably stronger than the original version, depending on your mood.
As with most Skinny Puppy records, this disc is most enjoyable when played at night, joint in hand, nice and loud, paranoia setting in, was that KNOCKing a sample? or is there someone at the door??

Hah! Huh? Where? What? When? Why? How? Who?... Oh... Phew!!
Stay tuned for more of…
