Tracks 1-4, 1-7 to 1-9, 2-1, 2-2 recorded live to a TEAC 2-Track tape deck performed in concert on July 17, 1983.
All other tracks recorded at the final rehearsal for Reggae Sunsplash 1983 on a sony cassette deck on June 27, 1983.
Remixed and edited for cassette at Noise, NY, December 8th and 15th, 1985.

Reggae Skatalites are a ska band from Jamaica. They played initially between 1963 and 1965, and recorded many of their best known songs in the period, including Guns of Navarone. The Skatalites first reunion happened in the studio, during 1974 sessions for bass player Lloyd Brevett's solo album. After laying down hand percussion tracks at Lee Perry's studio, Brevett was joined by McCook, Alphonso, Sterling, Knibb and Mittoo. Stretching Out ROIR, recorded 1983, released 1986. In 1983 Herbie Miller, manager of Peter Tosh brought the original Skatalites minus the late Don Drummond back to Jamaica from all over the world to perform at the 1983 Jamaica Sunsplash.
