Out is the seventh album of the Japanese female hard rock group Show-Ya. The album was released on 6 September 1989, in Japan. The album was mixed at the famous Cherokee Studios in California and was arranged by Masanori Sasaji and Show-Ya. Lyricist Yoshihiko Andō wrote most of the lyrics for the songs of the album. This is the band's best selling album, with more than 100,000 copies sold in Japan. The first single Genkai Lovers 限界 Lovers sold more than 30,000 copies in Japan, being used. SHOW-YA is a female hard rockheavy metal band that briefly enjoyed big popularity in Japan, and made a valiant attempt at making it worldwide. Formed in 1984, the groups very first gig was in at Dingwalls in London. Outerlimits, Show-Ya's seventh album, is as diverse as it is focused. Some of the songs on this CD are as forceful as what you'd have found on an Ozzy Osbourne or Iron Maiden album, while others are the type of slick pop-metalhard rock items you would have expected from Heart, Vixen or Lita Ford. The playing is tight, and it's clear that lead vocalist Keiko Terada who sings mostly in Japanese, with English phrases inserted here and there has sizable chops even though her enunciation in English isn't perfect-she seems to be inserting the English phrases as a way of expre.
