Two CD set. Samson's career goes back to the mid-1970s London pub and club circuit. In 1986, Paul released the solo album Joint Forces. The album was produced by Jo Julian, who had previously worked as tape-op for Phil Spector, as well as producing Samson's Before The Storm album in 1982. The album included 'No Turning Back', which showed a lighter side to Samson, and was released as a single. Joint Forces was recorded as a Paul Samson solo album but decided it would be best served as a Samson record. This version of the album has been expanded to include the E. P And There It Is now titled 1988 along with subsequent material entitled Ninteen Nighty-Eight. Sadly Paul Samson is no longer with us as he passed back in 2002, but he did leave behind one hell of a legacy & a guitar tone thats just out of this world.
