Love Is Hell is the fifth studio album by alternative country artist Ryan Adams, released on May 4, 2004. The album was originally released as two EPs, Love Is Hell pt. 1 and Love Is Hell pt. 2, at the insistence of Lost Highway, who deemed that the album was not commercially viable. A full-length version of the album was released when the EPs proved to be more of a commercial success than anticipated. Love Is Hell pt. 2 is an EP by the alternative country artist Ryan Adams, released on December 9, 2003. Adams shows he can still do gentle, understated tunes somewhere inside the mind of Ryan Adams, far away from the twitchy extroversion hes currently selling via his new album, Rock N Roll, a humble troubadour still writes little songs. Theyre not all stunners - some of the character sketches on his second Love Is Hell EP the first was released in November are bona fide corn, such as the maudlin McCartney-esque Thank You Louise. But Adams is a craftsman, and on the image-rich Pt. 2, hes taken lyrics he might have otherwise discarded and inflated them into pure romantic reverie, surrounding the vocals with gentle, understated music. Love is Hell Part 2 Ryan Adams. This is a very good album. I don't really know why they decided to divide love is hell into two EP's beside the fact that it part one and two together are long enough to be two albums anyway. In my opinion however I would say keep them together. Love is hell part one and two are equally good so I say buy the one copy without the part where both are combined. If you are ordering it online, it will save you money. There is nothing on the EP's that aren't already on the full full album, they really just cut it down the middle. As to the mu.
