Short intro
I've Got My Own Album to Do is the first solo album by English rock musician Ronnie Wood, released in September 1974. An all-star project recorded outside of his activities with the Faces, it reached number 27 on the UK's NME chart. The album title was thought to be a dig at Rod Stewart, who appeared to be more committed to his solo career than working with the Faces. Wood has said that the title originated from contributors such as George Harrison and Mick Jagger nagging me to let them go home and. 50 видео Воспроизвести все Микс Ronnie Wood - I've Got My Own Album. The album contains eleven tracks comprised of Ronnie Wood originals, Jagger and Richards Sure the One You Need and Act Together, plus a cover of Rudy Clarks If You Gotta Make a Fool of Somebody and Am I Grooving You, a song originally recorded in 1967 by soul singer Freddie Scott. The stellar line-up of musicians on the album include Keith Richards, Mick Jagger, Woods Faces bandmates Rod Stewart and Ian McLagan, Mick Taylor of the Rolling Stones, George Harrison, and the all-American rhythm section of Willie Weeks, former bassist with Donny Hathaway, and Andy Newmark, drummer with Sly and the Family Stone. For his first album, Ron Wood enlisted Keith Richards and the Faces' pianist Ian McLagan as support and turned in a loose, good-humored album that catches fire on the swaggering Take a Look at the Guy, the earnest cover of If You Gotta Make a Fool of Somebody, and the grinding R&B workout Crotch Music.
