We met Robert Bergman last September while we were a bit drunk at a party hosted by all-boy-collective BAKK from The Hague. It was around the same time his first single was about to get released by the same BAKK, with Legowelt on the other side (now that's a way to get started!). We crossed paths with him a few more times afterwards and it immediately became clear how talented and passionate Robert is with and about music. If he is not making tracks at his home in Amsterdam, he is probably behind the counter at Rush Hour or at the University studying musicology. Or in a club putting on some of the best records you have never heard before. Or doing a liveset with his own material. Yes, we are big fans of the multi-talented Beargman and very pleased that he mixed the first Wichelroede Mixtape of this year!

Robert George Bergman born May 23, 1942 is an American chemist. Born in Chicago, Robert Bergman was the son of Joseph J. and Stella Bergman, née Horowitz. In 1963 he graduated from Carleton College with a degree in chemistry. Under the supervision of Jerome A. Berson, he received a PhD in 1966 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
